Wailea Canoe and Surf Club

The Wailea Canoe and Surf Club is located at the Cove at Kalama Beach in Kihei. The Wailea Canoe Club was founded in 1993 and is now 26 years old with founding members Kapena and Polohiwa Whitford continuing to lead the club. The Wailea Canoe Club has daily paddles at the Cove for it's members, friends and guests, sharing the Ohana spirit and our love of paddling. The Wailea Canoe Club also competes annually in the HCC Regatta Racing Season with crews racing in various age groups and classifications. Through the years, the Wailea Canoe Club has built a reputation for attracting top local, national, international paddlers and coaches and has an affiliate Canoe Club in Japan,
